Maths 
This week in maths is going OK I'm starting to get to know division more.It is still hard but easier as I go on. But some of it i don't get and I still need a little help on it.

Writing 
 This week we had to share our speech I don't know how good my speech went I know I have a small voise and I don't really won't to do it again it is as terrifying as it is and that is really hard and scary.

Reading
This week I have been reading 2 books captain underpants and the attack of the talking toilets and Ella diaries operation merry Christmas and know I am reading another Ella diary.

 Friday 23rd June 2017 My Reflection by Katie  

Maths this week was OK I still don't get the warm up that Mrs Bryant gives us to me it is really confusing and I don't remember anything she said. Other than that my maths is going really well get it but not division I like the small division it is easy but sometimes it is to easy and on other days it is easy and a little bit hard too.

Reading is going good too i'm now reading 2 books Captain underpants and Good Idea Amelia Jane I really like captain underpants now it terns out too be a really cool and funny book Amelia Jane is the same they are really cool and funny books too about 1 month ago I hated books now I love them.

Writing the only writing I do is mostly my speech and draft writing work well work in it. I love too write stores when I was 6 years old I wrote a story about a family of cats and I wrote one last week and I was hopping to sheer it with you.

Reading: This week I have been reading three books Ballet Stars, Cupcake Catastrophe and the book I am reading now Amelia Jane is naughty again ,Ballet stars and cupcake catastrophe are Ella and Olivia books. 

Writing: In writing I have been researching for my speech I have not started writing my speech because I don't know how to lay it out like I don't know what to start with.

Maths: I have done maths like hard ÷ division like 

36÷4=9

99÷11=9

21÷7=3

 And stuff like that division is hard for me because I do not know my 8's 7's 6's and 4's I know a little bit of my 9's and 3's but I don't know my 5's off by heart and I know my 2's and 10's really good I don't like to be rushed because I panic and then I get the wrong answers.

Maths: In maths this week I have learnt how to make 9x easier It's a little trick I can not explain it  I do not know how. So anyway W.A.L.T make times tables easier instead of counting in like 3's 8's 5's and 10's  there is another way like this.

11x9 

 9x( 10+1)

 (9x10) + (9x1)

90 + 9 = 99

so that was a easy one.

Reading: This week I have been reading Sophie The Awesome I really like this book it is very adventuress and has a lot of drama in it and I like that so it is a good book for me I have also reed some journals Ugly and Poi in ugly they have put some of the top 10 ugliest animals in the world and the Aye aye is one of them it is cute but the nose is not. 

Spelling:This week I did not pass my list the resson why is because I did not practice that much. I am still on list J J J J J  on list J.

Maths: This week no my maths is getting to be a little hard and easy so it is all right for me so i'm in a good group for maths i'm loving the maths homework too and I would like more of that is helps me on my times tables and my subtraction.

  

Writing: this week I have not done that much writing so I have nothing to say about writing but I want to do more writing because I love writing. So when I go home i'm going to do some writing in my homework book and write stories in it next week. 

Inquiry: In inquiry I have done Gymnastics with Mrs Srathern and I did big ball games with Mrs Hobbs and music again with Mr Gemmel and in music we are learning the song Heathens i'm a singer I only like singing in a group know one can here me that well.

Homework: I know it is weird writing about homework but I just want too. Anyway homework is good I actually love homework and I love the maths homework and won't more of it.

Reading: My reading ummmm this week I was reading Ivy + Bean make the rules It was a good book and I am writing it  down in my 25 book challenge I for got did I tell you about it Mrs Briant gave me so far I have one book down.

  Maths: The first week back we have done maths. I have done maths at home also but not that much. The maths that I do is easy but it is a little bit hard it is in the middle my maths level is a good level for me.

Reading: This week I have been reading My Creepy Crawly Camping Adventure I finished it on Wednesday. My Mum is getting me more of those kind books I like to read books from a series of book once I have finished one book from a series I go to another book series.

Writing: This week I have not done much writing or hardly any I don't know why so no writing to talk about.👎👎👎

Spelling: In spelling I am on list I and I am pretty shore I am going to pass. 1 hour later Yay!!! I passed

 Maths: My maths this week has been fun. It turns out that times tables are fun after all and I really like it and i am really good at it.

Spelling: Spelling i think i have gone good in my spelling i am in H but i hope i have moved up to I.

Inter school swimming:  This week i when to inter school swimming sports. i did three events breaststroke,freestyle and medially i came 3rd in finials in breaststroke 4th in freestyle and 4th or 3rd in medially.

Writing: this week i have not done much writing this week but i did some at home it is called A Story it is about cats.

Inquiry: Since i was at inter school swimming i don't remember if i did go to room 10 or 9.

Reading: this week i have read 2 books Juliet nearly a vet and rat burger in rat burger i have read up to page 33 and Juliet nearly a vet page 54.

Maths: Maths is one of my favorite subjects i feel really good when it comes to math even tho Was not here most of the week and i think i am improving my work.

Reading:This week I have not really done any reading at school this week but I have done lots of reading at home. I reed Ella and Olivia books.

Writing:I have not really done any writing this week at school. But i root a story at home about a family of cats i have lots of similes in it and it has lots of metaphors.

Inquiry: I have not done any thing in inquiry this week because i was away most of the week.

 Maths: My maths my maths was quiet easy I feel confident in doing this kind of maths it is really cool and Mrs Bryant tort me some things to.
Reading:My reading mostly book talk and after lunch and morning tea i have been reading nonstop nonsense it is a really humerus book it is really funny and exciting and it is filed of poems.       
Spelling: On Fridays i have spelling my lists and i don't really think I did very well I am not really good at spelling but I like it it make me feel like oh I hope I pass.
Writing: In writing I have be doing it about my friends bank but it is not a money bank. But i have been writing about that and i put a lot of similes in it and it sounds really cool if u understand it.
Inquiry: In inquiry i have been going to all the classes in  my team and in room 10 we have been doing games for the little kids in rata team and my game is called Jail ball and I made it with Paige and Aylah.

 Hi my name is Katie. I'm really into cats my neighbors even call me cat.This is my first year as a year 5. I'm really enjoying being a year 5 it is really fun I have an awesome teacher Mr Gemmil.  He is amazing.I know is i'm going to have a good year with him.I am loving the work he is giving me it is not to hard and it is not to easy.
